Libby is awesome, plenty of recreational options for a country boy like you, the whole valley from the Kootenai River and up Libby creek is unbelievable scenic with views of the cabinet mountains and beautiful fields and forests. They probably get less snow than you'd expect, if you're considering a move around there I'd recommend you live a little uphill to the West/Southwest of White Haven which a 10-15 minute drive from libby, plenty of properties in that area that are probably somewhat alike to your current property, except for the fact it's in Montana, and as a bonus that extra few hundred feet will go a long ways with snow and precip. Probably would have quite the commute for work, more than you already do, but you probably already know that if you're asking this question.
I cope by accelerating warming in ways I can influence. The sooner the Japanese currents heat up, the quicker we get mega ridges anchored over Alaska. Then there is the added bonus of current collapse when melt water from the polar gyre is released into the Atlantic.
My alternative, which frankly make cost some lives, is finding out what super volcano with a high sulfur content is due to go sooner, then getting some automated well drilling to flash cool the subsurface as a means of introducing more water into the magma and inducing an eruption.
