I'm happy to report that my area continued to get very good rainfall yesterday and a 3-day total of 1.73" of rain and Sky Harbor with 0.43" of Rain. More good news, San Fransisco Peak where Snowbowl Ski Resort is located had a whopping 37" of snow the past 3 days. In fact, they opened a day earlier yesterday because of all the Fresh Powder! It feels like Winter came roaring in this entire week with another storm on the deck here for the weekend as So Cal is getting hit right now. This has been a very impressive Flip into Winter for Southwest!!!
I got the biggest rain I've had in months overnight. 1.7 inches with light rain still falling. This will help greatly and the pattern continues to look wet going forward.
We have not had much sun this week and today will be no different. Rain chances increase late tonight with around 0.20" possible for most areas. We should finally see the sun return tomorrow through Monday with afternoon high temperatures near average at around 50 degrees. Our next rain chances increase by Tuesday late day into Wednesday. Wednesday should be our one well above average temperature day with highs reaching near 60 degrees! We turn sharply cooler by Thanksgiving Day.
