The official high of 55 yesterday was the 2nd warmest ever recorded on any February 16th at Grand Rapids. The current temperature and overnight low here in my yard is 32. There are now a lot of snow free areas in my yard. And there will be less snow cover in the days ahead. The next seven days will seen a couple rounds of rain and there is a small chance of some snow late week but not a big chance. Highs will range from the mid 50’s before cooling down to near 30. There seems to be a little bit of energy coming up from the GOM that kicks this system into gear. If it phases in time we get a little bit of snow like this mornings GFS shows.

If that track and precip verifies it should at least be snow in the air (add a degree or 2 for temps). Accumulation for the hills.

925s are good but temps and dew points are pretty borderline.
