Not exactly true. 2022 was pretty wet and chilly til June. Then the switch flipped and we were hot dry and eventually smoky til October.

Just snuck in another 70+ day at ORD, although winds have now flipped northerly so the window for further warming will be shutting. This makes it the 5th day of 70+ this month. There may be a shot at another one on Monday, and if that were to occur, it would be the most 70+ days in March in Chicago since 2012.
