Today was a perfect example of how the airport is a terrible measurement of what things are like IMBY.
28F at EUG but barely 32F here. It will get foggy here faster than the airport which also mitigates as much cooling. This is why we didn't have a freeze in February in downtown Springfield.
It's an awful weather location, zero doubt.
I think I'm gonna throw in the towel this season for snowboarding. I completely botched the end of my season this year, it's been a long time since i've done that.
Went to Nub's Nob, in lower peninsula of MI, the week before the big blizzard because I had plans to go to Lutsen. Missed the blizzard because of Lutsen, actually drove through it. Then was lazy and slacked off on Vermont for a week, they ended up having an awesome week. Was going to go this week, tons of rain in the forecast, even models, and a rain then flash freeze (50s and rain to 7 for a low) which makes a ski hill a skating rink.
I hope next year we can see some more activity regarding northern New England because I will be chomping at the bit to get out there.
