Costco is an incredible place to work, all things being equal. I still go in there pretty routinely and see lifers from 1983 when the first Portland store opened. Only bummer is that you pretty much exclusively have to start part time.
For out here I just like to go with 3 straight days of 90+ highs. It just seems to fit the definition well. I think it originally originated to determine heatwaves on the East Coast. Yeah for SEA I would go lower, maybe 3 straight days of 80+ highs with at least one day 90+.
I'm probably going to quit my tech job here soon. You want mine? Pretty sure you'd be qualified. We just submitted paperwork for a 115kva lease at SE3/Equinix and are building an onprem 50 cab lab in Spokane that will support 50kw per cab. They're going all in with AI like every other company on earth.
I'll go to Costco. Better benefits than Safeway and if their apps are any indication on how they feel about tech, they won't be touching AI for a long time.
