This would be the time of year Jim would pick a random leaf and put it in his backyard and declare fall is coming early.

Funny enough, I mow my gravel! Actually I have the deck up and use it to blow the leaves over into the woods. The huge flowering cherry (of some sort) drops leaves weekly in the summer before the big dump in the late fall.

Imagine if the Socal water temps were in the upper 40s during summer. It would be so awful.
