Nice little smoke plume coming off a new wildfire on southern Vancouver island. Kind of late in the season for here but we’ve really had no rain to speak of in nearly a month.

My kids went to Derringer SD. In my opinion it is one of the best school districts around. It is too bad they don't go above the 8th grade. Yes, the traffic is bad at times but in my mind that is just part of the tradeoff for living in a desirable area.
