I walked out to the end of the boardwalk around this time of year a couple years ago and saw a bunch of bald eagles probably in the same place. You had a much better vantage point though. They also congregate in the mudflats out near Seabeck. Pretty cool to see so many up close.
Came back through the nisqually river delta and there must’ve been 40-50 bald eagles on the sandbars. Saw a lot of different cool wildlife today more than I’ve ever seen in a day.
No idea how the ECMWF thought it would be 69 at SEA today. Currently 75. I think this adds to the notion of overachieving temps when it's just really a cool bias on the most trusted model overall.
No really... that is pretty variable. And when troughs are just to the west or north they can bring extremely nice weather in the summer. I don't want red parked over us for weeks... that would just turn to smoke
