It's Flag Day.
So far June this year is averaging warmer than last year, but with last year being the 13th coldest June on record for Downtown L.A. it's not that hard to do.
Yeah…Sounds spot on. If you are following my path you are in for 1 more really bad night, then you start the slow climb out of it.
I remember back in the day the kids would only do a mass spread in September during back to school…Now they do a mass spread at the end of the school year as well apparently!
Looks like the models are starting to latch onto some pretty hefty ridging following our couple days of troughing. Should seal a solidly warmer than average June for the Portland area.
I need rain. Technically not in a drought or even "abnormally dry". But we are running 1+-2+ inch deficits in the last 30 days. Things are browning up and not much reliable relief in sight. After a wet early spring, was hoping for some wetter June days.
High Temps ranged from the low to mid 80's yesterday across the County. Today we should see temps well into the 80's today before a cold front passes later in the day which will cool us back to near normal over the weekend. Temps begin to warm and some solid heat sets in with widespread 90's likely starting on Tuesday.
Chester County records for today: High 99 degrees at Phoenixville (1943) / Low 41 degrees at West Chester (1985) / Rain 1.91" also in West Chester (1917)
