Parents of kids under 14 or so that I know limit time online. They have to get homework done and use it but social media is limited.
My nephew has to limit his. He’s like 16. But he’s also big into sports &will end up with a college scholarship based on his skill as a running back. He’d rather be on the field. Scouts are already watching him.
But too much online makes us all less “human.”
New poll shows 32% of Independents saying the conviction makes them less likely to support Trump. 22% say that it would be an important factor in their vote. 43% of respondents either strongly or somewhat agreed that the case was brought to help President Biden.
Whether those first two numbers actually stay that high come November, probably unlikely. But still - if even half of those Independents remain steadfast in not wanting to support a felon, that's enough to tilt the election.

Now that's quite a "light show" from Mother Nature....you had a wonderful vantage point to see the entire scope of the line coming right at you. Congrats! I'll be waiting for my Monsoon storms to show up later next month...maybe late this month? Hope so.
We had a metric ton of lightning overnight. Family and I went out a nearby farm road around midnight to get a better view. Quite literally the entire western horizon was covered with strobe lights for as long as the eye could see. Just constant flashes. Tried to get the best video I could but it honestly doesn't even do it justice. We ended up losing power for about 5 hours after this line moved overhead. There wasn't crazy wind with the line so I'd assume it was caused by a lightning strike.
Still waiting on some good hailers. We have yet to have any large hail since we moved here a couple years ago. Hoping to experience that before this severe weather bout is up. For now though, the lightning show was more than enough to tide me over.
