I saw this on the ECMWF seasonal. That would be a hot summer in the west but us in the central parts might be near or just a bit above normal temperature wise with plenty of rain. I'd take it.

Looking ahead we will probably get another good soaking tomorrow night as storms roll in. I wouldn't be surprised if we had another inch. Warmer weather is coming this weekend, with a few days potentially near or in the low 90s with humidity, but more rain is likely next week.

I picked up 0.89" yesterday from a few rounds of showers and storms. The high was in the mid 70s. It was a very nice day! So for the month of May that puts me at 6.22" so far and 12.42" for April+May (almost all of which came since April 20th).

The other thing to consider is that Trump has been pretty quiet lately and this trial is making him a martyr. But when he starts screaming and ranting at us every day this summer and into the fall as we approach the election... normal people (and those in the middle) will be reminded how truly intolerable he is as a person and in the end he might not win regardless of what the polls show. People in the middle are not passionate Trump supporters. They will be holding their nose and voting for what they think is the lesser of two miserably bad candidates. Some of you look at the MAGA cult rallies and think everyone (outside of the far left) is super excited about Trump. I assure you that is not the case.

I know nothing about Jeb Bush... other than the silly personal mocking from Trump back in 2016. Poor Trump. He is always trying to do the right thing and he is always vilified. Such a great guy and so misjudged.

The warm and sunny days coming up this weekend should be a nice reprieve. Next week looks quite active once again....#RelentlessMay

I am up to .80" and this system isn't over. My son 12 miles west had 2.4"! Ive had 12.94" since April 1st. And no sign of this stopping. Many farmers haven't planted much at all. Others got some in the tiny windows. My corn looks great! Garden is fair. Mowing is grinding to a hault! Developing into the most difficult wet period since 2010 from a landscaping point of view!

I missed the heavy rains that fell last night just to my north where up to 3"+ fell up in Lake county. It's a raw, windy, cloudy morning with a temp in the low 50's. Great day to catch up on some sleep! Going to be one of those lazy days.

The official H/L yesterday at Grand Rapids was 80/57 there was 0.15” of rainfall the sun was out 60% of the time. The peak wind gust was 32 MPH out of the W. For today the average H/L is 69/48 the record high of 89 was set in 1982 the record low of 31 was set in 1973. Last year the H/L was 65/48. The overnight low here in MBY was 58 and with cloudy skies that is the current temperature.
