A 41/17 spread at PDX would be insane considering that we don't have much cold to begin with. FWIW the 18Z AIFS also gets PDX pretty cold, with mid 20's at its lowest there. Curious if tomorrows models will look any different, and how long this inversion sticks around for. 4-5 days looks like the consensus but I bet that changes.
I'm going to go against the grain and say he's being dead serious. Now, assuming he's actually autistic, he's likely to be highly impressionable. You can see that when he took Eric Webb's tweet of a gut feeling and perceiving it as fact. Sometimes people with autism struggle with detecting underlying falseness or nuance. Or maybe he's using that as a scapegoat to post ridiculous content, but I doubt it personally.
Anyways, it's been a cool but mostly dry day today. Got up to 48 here. Rains starting to roll in now.
Yup, and I'm looking forward to those cold, howling east winds. There is no better time to hang up Christmas lights and put out decorations in the yard.
