Yes Sir, it was pretty much clear pavement...I knew this system would create the SW/NE banding and its a luck of the draw to see if you'll get under a few of them. Looks like Chicago metro will do well.

This storm overpermed in places, it really set up in bands. I'm currently on the tail end of a heavy band and 1 more on the way before it ends.

It seems that the ridge merger occurs further offshore than the GFS/GEFS.

Brother just told me he has 5 inches and still snowing in Boonville, Mo. Never would I have thought he would more than double my snow with this storm with him being substantially more northwest than me. I just went out and measured 2 inches. Still snowing lightly here, I may get another half inch at best looks like.
