I was focusing more on the coastal areas. For example, the Florida panhandle outdoing us in snow two years in a row is not normal.

SEA isn't that great either ... Despite its elevation, probably one of the worst places to measure. Of course Downtown Seattle and Fife is worse. Last winter SEA only got 2 inches which is crazy, considering how a lot of the East side of King County got far more. Head north of Seattle and those areas definitely average way more.
