Going by this outage map, the worst of the ice storm ended-up a county or two south of APX's forecast map (matching the last minute model shifts) and was a narrow miss for mby. We had a lot of rain last evening with the house temp showing 32 or 31F. The blue dot with the circle around it is home btw.

There are still areas of heavy snow in the UP. Here in southern Lower Michigan it is still on the mild side. While it only reached 43 here in MBY yesterday it was reported a much warmer 62 at the airport some 20 miles to my SE. the temperature overnight has held in the upper 30’s and is 37 here at 6:30 AM with cloudy skies. The forecast for today is still looking like we will see a increase in the winds and there is a chance of some snow but it don’t look like more that a inch or so. After turning colder later today and tomorrow the rest of the next 7 days look to be a little warmer than average with not much in the way of rain or snowfall. I don’t know how one would begin to attempt to measure this but if I’m just straight guessing I’d say we only got 2-3” of snow. When the sun comes up and I can see better I’ll take another peek and see if I still agree with tha assessment.
