Hopefully this warmth helps generate t-storms.

Band of clouds during the middle of the day failed to prevent another 70+ day out here. It was 70 in NB before the cloud band cleared and now warming up more with full sun... up to 72.

I am on the upper part of a steep hill facing the Sound so I stay quite warm on radiational cooling nights. My sensor is at 10m so that does make somewhat of a difference but 26 vs 28 or 29 probably doesn’t matter for the bugs. No true arctic airmass.

Wow, you must live in one of the worst radiational cooling spots in the area. Even Seattle WFO got down to 26 in January.
