For here dew points are in the low 70s today, enough for another Extreme Heat Warning with heat indices around 110-112 F this afternoon. More of the same tomorrow, but looks cooler by the weekend with that front.
It's worth keeping in mind on the dews that stations are notoriously less reliable when values are extreme. So although there is no doubt dew points are high, if you see a station jumping around erratically or higher than its neighbors it should at least be taken with some suspicion. That said, pretty crazy numbers we are seeing up north!
Pretty surprising that the SPC has not issued a watch yet. I think the observational trends are starting to show themselves. Not sure what the deal is.
