PDX was forecast to hit 90 as of this morning...only hit 85. Tomorrow they'll finally get off the schneid, though.

Looks like Timberline has just cut its summer ski season short and ended yesterday. 2015 actually made it all the way to mid-August, idk if they’ve ever cut the summer operations this early. Last I saw Mt Hood it looked shockingly bare. This upcoming winter had better be better than last.

There's a partially formed pot of gold somewhere over there...

I don't know how to explain this but today for about 10 minutes I got a very faint rainbow through the smoky? clouds. Could only see it with polarized sunglasses and the phone. Anyone else see this today up in Puget Sound? At the brightest I could see red, orange, yellow, green and blue. By the time I walked inside and grabbed the wife and told her to quickly come out it had faded quite a bit. Oh and I'll take any suggestions on what to do with the massive now empty front yard! Cleared out a bunch of undergrowth and dirt this weekend. Help this learning weather fan what I saw.
