I think all 11 have been confirmed. It was pretty interesting to watch the lifeflight response. At least 4-5 helos were flying up that way. The on from Bellingham cirlced the crash site along with a Coast Guard helo for a long time, a couple landed at the airfield at Orcas, another landed at Skagit, and another was heading up from Bremerton, though I didn't see where they ended up landing. Canada sent down their big rescue hovercraft from Tsawwassen but it turned around right about the time that news started coming out about the 11th survivor being found, so I'm guessing they had divers and whatever equipment necessary to search underwater.
Good luck...hopefully its better down there. The select soccer organization for Whatcom County when my kids were that age was incredibly corrupt with horrible politics. Kids with no business playing select soccer being made a starter because of the parents making donations or coaching. One of my son's rec league teammates WAS good enough for select soccer and didn't make the cut. A few days later, the organization called the parents to see if the restaurant they owned would like to renew their sponsorship. The parents told them NOPE! and a day or 2 later, a spot miraculously opened up. They still said no and joined the Skagit select team along with several other Whatcom kids. I think all of the teams have a fair amount of politics, but the Whatcom Rangers took it to the next level, and the coaches and kids (as much as I hate to say it) were complete douchebags.
So....that's what you have to look forward to
Also, I think several of the parents ended up buying campers to make life a little easier traveling all over the state for matches and tournaments.
