Yeah, seems like it was kind of a Jan 1969 setup on steroids. Definitely hard to imagine that kind of dominant northern stream action during a mega Nino. Also, most of them have seen CA precip peak in Feb/Mar with the juiced up STJ as opposed to Dec/Jan.
