The models have been awful handling the clouds from the deformation band over northern WA so far. Models last night showed it would be here early this afternoon and now it still hasn't made it. Totally clear out there.
95 at ORD today, which overperformed basically all guidance as far as I can tell.
This airmass has tipped its hand imo. With a warmer start tomorrow, some modest warming aloft, similar mixing and probably similar in terms of cloud cover, I see no reason why temps won't be warmer than Sunday. 96 or 97 seems likely.
