That’s the key thing, “in an ideal world”…unfortunately in the real world racism still happens a lot. I’ll never forget when I was in a choir in Bellingham, Washington and we went to a talk given by a black opera singer who said that Bellingham was the most racist place she had ever lived and gave some examples of how unwelcome she was made to feel. I strongly believe that we need to acknowledge that people have to deal with being treated poorly because of their race…while not making them feel tokenized, patronized or what have you. IMO the only solution is just to see everyone as human and listen to them, we all bleed red but at the end of the day, yes people have some different experiences based on what color their skin is because the world sucks.
Don't be silly. It was just nonsense. Random meandering nonsense. Nothing unusual... just more of the same. He will probably win but just be real about it.
Over 41,000 COHO have come over Willamette Falls already, this has already smashed the record for upper Willamette Coho. No one seems to know what the hell is going on, but I've heard Coho are doing really well regionally too. It's funny because they are supposedly not native to the upper Willamette, but were stocked many years ago. So it's believed the run is a remnant of that stocking program 60-70 years ago.
I think so.
Now GFS has it coming in north of Tampa…that wouldn’t be good. Bottom line is there’s still uncertainty, and it seems it could hit anywhere from Cedar Key to Naples.
