Little Traverse Bay region is one of my favorite places in Michigan. Not much snowmobiling trails (ride from home type anyways) but major ski resort options are close by which we used to frequent. 19" of LES was the highest total I've seen with this round. Right in that region you drove through.

Haven't read all the posts from last night... but after looking at the ECMWF and EPS its pretty clear that something is coming and right around the timeframe that many on here targeted (Jan 20). I am officially on board now that the EPS is clearly showing the beginning of the event.

I took a quick walk outside and it looks like about 1/4 inch of ice on the trees from freezing rain overnight. The temp is down to 24 with a mix of sleet and snow falling.
