It’s true. People focus too much on high temps and not taking into account how hard it is to now heat up the air with how humid it is and will be in the future. Yet records are being broken on the warm side at an unprecedented rate compared to cold. Smashing records with humidity is certainly going to happen. Just a matter of when. The SouthWest will be unlivable in the next century.
remember every extra degree of average ocean temp exponentially increases the amount of moisture in the air. The planet is going to be a bonafide greenhouse sooner rather than later. It’s basic physics.
