Forgot the Williamston twister in 2023 that went right over I-96 that could easily have been deadly. The Mitt's been on a streak lately that's for sure.
@summerrules I'm glad you're on here - I know @Hoosier luvs all the temp talk and you're even in his region - perfect!
I for one don't get too excited about temps unless its super dramatic. I will say, this month has been one of the better roller coaster regimes in my not too short lifetime here in The Mitt.
Another plunge for tomorrow (and I'm not sure we hit that high if the CF speeds up at all)
The infamous "Pneumonia Front" during May of 2015 is memorable in this category as well.
LOT has now confirmed 10 tornadoes from March 10. In the EF-3 tornado that tracked from IL into IN, it looks like they upgraded a couple additional swaths of damage in that tornado to EF-3. That supercell went on to produce 2 tornadoes in the IWX cwa, so that supercell produced a total of at least 12 tornadoes.
Was looking at IWX's page of this event and saw a picture when the tornado was near Knox, IN. Just visually, the pic reminded me a bit of the tornado that hit Branch county, Michigan on April 11, 1965. Here are the two pics for comparison:
