April finished as the 12th warmest (POR 133 years) first month of spring here in Chester County PA below are the Top 20 warm years. Our average of 55.0 was +2.8 degrees above our 1991-2020 climate normal of 52.2 degrees.

Some of us won in the snow department, so I don't mind for now. But we need to win just a little more to make up for the huge wins Portland had in 2017, 2018, 2021, 2023, 2024... Big totals (1-2 feet) instead of a slopfest. Just hope we get some storms this summer even if not as much as further south.

This is actually only the 2nd time in the past 20 years that ORD has had a low of 32 or colder in May. The other time was in 2020.

O'Hare and Midway got down to 32, but 20s were fairly widespread in the northern and central LOT cwa. I had a low of 28. LOT kind of dropped the ball on this one imo, and it was already becoming apparent yesterday evening. Could've gone with a freeze warning.
