You don't choose dates on that site. The default is last 7 days. I also cannot make the last 7 days be anything but that... the last 7 days just occurred and are what they are, regardless of your panic level over this warm season. That was also the period that was referred to as "a few barely below normal days". You can also do month to date, last 14 days, last 30 days, etc. Try it for yourself.
