Yeah if you're just looking at highs than it had two straight +15 or higher days. Record highs between 6/5 and 6/15 range from like 84 to 96, so that metric is a little all over the place.

Very midsummer like for us here already. 2-3 day heat spike. Weak marine push down to 75-80 range. Gradual build back up to next heat spike. Rinse, wash, repeat. About a full month ahead of schedule.

I’d say it would qualify as a heatwave, albeit short lived. 92 and 93 here the last couple days is pretty hot any time of the year. It definitely ended up being kind of a “rug push” right beforehand and over performed. Couple days before it looked like it might not even hit 90.
