Depends on where you're talking about (and this did not happen overall with last one).
Overall, it's looking like this system might balance out some of the places that have done pretty well this month with precip (OLM/SEA/Tacoma area), as that area looks like it might be shadowed pretty good. Everett to BLI should do decent, and then given the track of this thing, I think OR might do better overall than the last rainfall.
That's a good point about the upcoming heat. The progged temps/dewpoints are semi-respectable on their own, but it will feel enhanced due to the cooler weather recently.
Meanwhile, still a mess around here from the storms last night. Got a better look at things with daylight and there are many branches and trees down in town. I wonder if the NWS will investigate this area but it seems more likely to be straight line winds. It definitely would've taken 70-80 mph winds to do what I saw, maybe a little higher.
