Not saying this is totally accurate but this is what my weather station shows. The current dewpoint at the Cedar Rapids airport is 84°. I live right next to massive corn and bean fields. So I can’t rule this out.

Had HI of 119 or 120 last hour (depends on who you go with.) 94 / 83 = 120F And had 84 dew for 2 outta of 5 minutes , not officially 84, but still miserable. (Need 3 outta 5) I think 83 is a record for KDSM and the HI

We’ve never been and it’s a nice city but the smoke has really hampered it unfortunately.

Pretty nice weather going into August. Can't help but forget though that it reached 100 in September 2024.
