Western Europe is a very similar climate to the PNW and is seeing very similar rates of warming. And the rest of western North America is actually seeing very rapid summer warming as well. That's not localized. That's a function of mid-latitude climate zones across the globe simultaneously experiencing the early stages of a wholesale shift as the global temperature reaches a certain threshold and their heat capacity crosses over. The overall climate warming trend extends back 150+ years at this point and the PNW has been seeing a healthy upwardly mobile baseline shift in the summer for 40+ years. That's not short-term. You also trying to use a single (?) still quite warm year to demonstrate the start of a trend is a master class in irony. I don't think you're in a position to be giving others lectures on statistics here....
