Nix is a Zach Wilson 2.0. That being said he is going to a situation with a great head coach. Tough division, but he could have a great future in Denver! We will be wishing him well. I think you could make a strong case for every one of these first round QB s being a bust. Williams for obvious reasons, he might break a nail and pull himself out of the game. Drake Maye is Trubisky 2.0. McCarthy just isn’t an NFL level QB. Penix may never even play. Well before seems a bit of a stretch. I was mildly surprised Nix went 12th as literally no mock drafts had him going that high. Penix to the falcons was also a shock, they could have traded back to the 2nd round to get him. Not sure why they would do that when they have Cousins, unless they don’t trust his health.

I wouldn't call mostly 0 to +2 with pockets of 0 to -2 moderately above normal across the board. It's not perfectly average, but this spring has been pretty darn close for most lowland locations. And that will be even more the case by Tuesday.

No one has said it’s been a wall to wall blowtorch. But as that map shows, it’s been moderately above normal across the board. And we have had some significant ridging events, mid-March being the most notable.

This forecast may be in trouble.

At least it's been a pretty temperate spring so far. And of course this map will look cooler in a few days.
