Looks like you may be right about the sting jet-- I'd expect peak winds to show up as that thing scoots inland.

Winds have gone calm again here. Bummer as I was hoping we could get in on this. We just live in too wind-sheltered of an area. Hoping for some significant event that isn't excessive heat and wildfires again one day soon.
