True. But the other day Bastardi said he picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue after the ECMWF seasonals came out. He already thought it was going to be bad there. The warm East signal is very strong this winter.

At least the ECMWF has a couple of nippy days. Believe it or not this not a lot unlike November 1915.

It’s still just long range weather modeling with its usual low accuracy. Most if not all of those long range models are showing a reflection of the expected ENSO state. I doubt any models were showing us getting crushed in February 2019 but it still happened.
