Well my family and I got in a car accident last night on our way to go look at Christmas lights. A man blew through a stop sign before I could see him and he practically t-boned us at 40 mph right into the side with me and my four year old. My 11 year old and pregnant wife were in the passenger side. Thank God Almighty everyone ended up walking a way with nothing more than soreness (mainly from the airbags) and a scratch. We went to the ER for an ultrasound and baby is perfect too. Our own Christmas miracle.
In other news, we have a Dense Fog Advisory this morning. Between the skiff of snow we still have in some spots and the hoar frost the fog has created, if you tilt your head and squint your eyes it almost looks like a white Christmas Eve! Maybe this will help brighten spirits when the kids wake up.
That GRR snowfall kind of explains no event summary. Heck, I don't even see one single snowfall report for their CWA this morning. Nada. Had to go national reporting site to confirm the two bolded lines in my post last night. Apparently the morning wave focused north of me and the evening wave more ESE from me giving about 2.5" combined here. I mentioned surprises and well, while not a bust, those last-minute surprises weren't really great for here, lol. A quick measure this morning show a solid 5" depth. This map shows the two jack-zones for The Mitt with this storm.
