Was afraid I'd get shadowed with this event, but 1.60" of rain last night into today is totally respectable.
Not always in the screw zone! (But usually.)
Season total (10/1 to date) up to 15.88", or ~2/3 of normal.
Going through pictures this morning looking for something, and I was reminded of another funny preference that gets people going.
I'm not a Chevy person...for that matter I'm not a General Motors person. I pretty much hate anything Chevy/GM made after the mid-80's. And I know there are people on here who love their Chevys/GM products and that's all good. Different strokes for different folks.
That said, I got a full size SUV last weekend because I could be giving up to 6 people a ride from the airport. I also wanted a 4wd in case the roads did end up getting ugly.
Hertz hooked me up with a Chevy Suburban Z71 and I have to admit, that was a sweet ride. Lots of power, really nice exhaust note (I just hope it wasn't that synthesized BS some car makers are doing now), and a really comfortable ride.
