Yeah, I don't think the lake is as big of a factor in this setup. The bumps south with the surface low have more to do with the evolution aloft. It's kind of complex and it has taken the models a while to get a better handle on it. That midweek clipper type system should be easy peasy for the models, relatively speaking, lol

Definitely going to have quite the gradient across northern IL, with a full on blizzard and fairly high amounts not out of the question around Rockford, and then a zone of much less totals but blizzard-like conditions extending a ways southeast of there.

My family and friends told me that they were furious couple of days ago because it snowed again in NYC....it seems like they had enough this winter lol. I gotta admit, it was certainly a cold, snowy winter for you guys on the EC. Congrats....well "Deserved"!
