SeaTac airport itself got 3". Totals were much higher to the east, even below 500 feet many areas saw up to 6" in SE King County. And between 500-2000 feet, totals between 6-12" were found. North Bend and Tim got even more.
okay. Did a bunch of people under 400' get 5"+? Or did I miss something? Or are we calling 2-3" on some of the valley floors like what generally happened on Friday a major snowstorm now? I know some people with a bit of elevation did indeed do very well on Friday but I'm not aware that the main lowland areas had "major" accumulations.
In totality this was absolutely one of the worst years for lowland snow from the Willamette Valley up through the Lower Mainland of BC. Maybe not the absolute worst of the worst, but I think the spotty lowland areas that scored 2-3"+ in King/Pierce Counties were effectively balanced out by the complete donut hole further north from Bellingham to Vancouver where that kind of thing is much more rare.
