We had the smoke plume from the 285,000ac Pear Lake fire overhead on Saturday afternoon and evening. It must have blown up pretty good that day. The sky turned black around 5pm with near darkness by 6pm. There were thunderstorms all around us but we couldn’t see any flashes of lightning through the smoke.
These photos were taken from our cabin at Watch Lake in sequence between 4 and 7pm Saturday. The iPhone makes it look brighter than it actually was
