Had lightning strike across the street from me today. That was neat. The storm cell had fully passed like 15 min beforehand and it wasn't even raining at that point. Good reminder why the advice is usually so conservative with how long you need to stay inside when lightning is around.

Still about a week out but for now models seem to be trending towards our first real rain event since June in western WA mid next week. Maybe a little rain this weekend as well especially north of Seattle.
