Same for us in Maple valley. Curtains always drawn to avoid staring into the neighbor’s house. All the yards where we are now are bounded by streets on the east and west sides, and mature landscaping blocks what sight lines do exist into neighboring homes. I could never go back.

Absolutely beautiful! The snowy sunset shot is both eerie and stunning at the same time. I'm hoping for something like this too. Backyard view is directly due south so on a nice day, Rainier is always in view. No lack of direct sunlight either from sunrise to sunset as the sun moves east to west. I really hope this remains though as the Auburn School District is trying to move an existing middle school on that field rather than renovate it. They've been trying to get a super majority of 60% to pass on the ballot the past few years, but it had been shot down every single time. ASD ramped up the campaign this year trying to get it pass and it was on the ballot again this year so gonna have to see if it passes.

Amazing views!! Yeah I don’t know how my sister and bro in law who lives in a development does it, they’ve been there since it was new in 1998 so they have mature trees that help to block a bit, but neighbors in front, sides, and back would drive me insane. I love that we cannot see our neighbors anywhere on our 5 acres. The downside is my only view is looking straight up lol.
