Out this way, every developing niña and/or post niño year that produced big heat in June went on to produce even bigger heat in Jul/Aug. Can’t find any exceptions.
1988 and 2010 are the only satellite era niño-to-niña summers with big heat in June. Both ended up turning lethal in Jul/Aug.
