How anyone could dislike the Euro this time of year is kinda beyond me. It’s a nice mix of warmer than average and cooler than average days. Continuing the trend we saw all spring.
That is truly a gorgeous spider. (And all spiders are venomous, so the phrase “venomous spider” is redundant.)
P.S. Just been reading up a bit on them, their venom is not particularly harmful to humans, they are large enough to prey on cockroaches, and they are also known to prey on invasive brown marmorated stink bugs. It is a concern they might displace native spiders or harm native insect populations, but I don't think anyone is going to miss a few roaches or stink bugs.
I have a real problem with extended heat this time of year but I am endlessly mocked for it by the same people who loved this post. And there has been wayyy more of that than there’s been gloomy summer weather lately. Life’s tuff I guess
