  1. Past hour
  2. I’d agree we’ve had some great stretches of nice weather without torching.
  3. Ended up with a very nice Sunday. 61/46 spread with some morning showers then partly to mostly cloudy afternoon giving way to a clear evening and pretty sunset. Chilly start yesterday with a low of 42. Ended up with a high of 68 with partly to mostly sunny skies. Beautiful evening last night with a cool breeze and clear skies. Mostly cloud and 48 this morning after a low of 44. Looking forward to a decent soaking today.
  4. Nice to be home and enjoy the cool damp weather. Just flew into SEA yesterday evening. What a trip it was but I am glad to see we’ve got a good amount of rain in the forecast coming up!
  5. .06 so far on the day, 1.80” for the month. 46 degrees and raining.
  6. Enjoy your mild May, June came a month early where I'm at.
  7. Despite the whining from all corners, it’s been an incredibly pleasant month.
  8. .70 in the bucket so far today, which brings our 3-day total to just over 1 inch and monthly total up to 2.65 inches. Rain has subsided for now, with mainly gusty winds in place. We'll have to see if the western flank of the low that is currently over central Nebraska can hit my area as it moves to the NE later today, or if it remains over NW Iowa as some models indicate.
  9. Especially in Eastern WA. It would have been nice to have a 2022 spring here. That year spring had April snow and a bunch of rain in May and June.
  10. Layoffs suck, but glad to hear you have a plan lined up with your small business! Good luck with the new venture!!
  11. Today
  12. I would be good with this. At my soccer game last week, someone commented that the fields felt like it was July. If we have another summer like last summer in terms of how dry it got (and how hard the fields got) I will probably hang up my cleats. I'm not going to risk another knee injury. So far this morning, .09" in the rain bucket, and it feels like early spring or late fall out there with a temp of 48. Normally I might gripe about it, but I'll take it as dry as it has been. We have the Ski to Sea race this Sunday up here in Bellingham, and hopefully we get some decent weather for it. It's my first time participating in about 12 years.
  13. A strong line of storms was approaching Cedar Rapids this morning, but it weakened as it moved through. I got about 0.33" of rain out of it. Another line of storms is moving into central Iowa, which may affect the afternoon/evening severe chance.
  14. Memorial Day weekend looks to start out crappy, but it could end up being better than last year towards the end.
  15. Parts of NOAA sites are getting broken this morning.
  16. A nice couple of warm days on the way with highs near 80 degrees today and into the low to mid 80's tomorrow. Next chance of showers by Thursday. For the Memorial Day weekend Friday looks great with sunny skies and temps near 80 degrees. Unfortunately, our weekend pattern for unsettled weather looks to continue. No washouts but some showers are possible almost anytime through the weekend. Daily records for Chester County for today: High 97 degrees at Phoenixville (1934) / Record low 30 degrees in West Chester (2002) / Rain 5.56" at West Chester (1894)
  17. 0.13” so far. More than doubled my monthly total.
  18. Here’s an interesting “what if” What if Biden is the subject of a sudden medical emergency? Let’s say a stroke, prior to Election Day. Remember, he did have a surgery for an aneurysm in the past. Could the Democrats replace him with another candidate at the 11th hour? (Pre-debate time would be good timing, September) Just conjecture.
  19. And here’s more proof!….. He was the "Butcher of Tehran," known for holding five-minute "trials" for thousands of his own people and then sending them immediately to the execution squads. And for this killer, who terrorized his own people, who had attempted to assassinate American officials including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who, by many assessments was a mass murderer, Joe Biden sent "condolences." -WND
  20. All you need now is a "flying fish" to make this Biblical! That's wild to see a fish swimming through your street...lol, is there a local river or stream nearby?
