I am up to about 7.5 inches now.

FINALLY!!! Good God it is so hard to get it to snow here. Really coming down good and quickly accumulating now. Winds have shifted to NW on the East Hill of Kent so the colder air is finally going to be able to work its way in. I've been pacing like a caged animal for the last hour waiting for this to happen.

What a game... Was rooting for the Falcons but still amazing Super Bowl! I am at 4 inches now.

It's snowing here already! Nice surprise! No rain mixed in at all. I noticed The Swamp was the only official observation location showing snow falling this morning.

here in Bellingham the snow picked up a bit an hour and a half ago. I went for a very long walk through WWU's campus to check it out. I felt like I was in Fargo; it's a very fine powder blowing around on the streets. Only about 1/2 inch of new snow over the refrozen slush, but it's so cool. Also there was no snow from last night even 1/4 mile south of here. I'm always amazed at the differences in conditions over short distances in the PNW.

Absolutely dumping out there now! May make up for some lost time.

Tough to get much of a temperature fall during peak afternoon heating without heavy precip in early February. I fully expect things to quickly whiten up as we lose solar radiation around 5 PM.

The saying make every day like you last is the truth. I never understood it until i lost my lady. I honestly would trade everything i own in this world to spend 1 more day with her. All the days we have with our loved ones most of us take for granted. I have realized this the hard way. It is amazing what a little altitude change does here for snow. I took a drive up to a new development call Tehaleh, about 7 min from my house. They are at around 850' there. Getting some nice accumulations (see pics below). I have zero and pretty much rain now. I can literally drive 2 min and everything is white. It is totally bare here. LOL!

Abbotsford airport (YXX) reported 4" of new snow in the past hour . Pretty insane band in the Fraser Valley right now.

Olympia south to Centralia has a nice amount already, should get over 10" there no matter what

All kidding aside, glad to see the PS score. This winter is definitely In top tier category region wide now. Nearly every population center has received solid snow and cold.

Down to 24 with a N wind sustained at around 11mph just NE of Bellingham. It's been snowing most of the evening but it's been a very fine powder, so I don't think we've added too much in the way of accumulation. The intensity has picked up in the past half hour so hopefully we will start adding to the totals. I pretty much decided Bellingham proper was going to be in the screw zone again, glad to see I am wrong!

So far so good. About 1.5" now and still coming down. it has finally almost dropped to freezing.

Snowing pretty good here now and just starting to stick. The temperature is only falling very slowly though.

unfortunately the way you conduct yourself here has made you low-hanging fruit as far as "material" goes.
