The only weather model graphic I have been looking at over the past few days is occasionally the meteograms on Weatherbell's site. I remembered you mentioning a bigger NYE storm around last weekend and the one thing that I've looked for that has remained consistent across the ensembles is decent potential around that time. All three ensemble suites look very similar to the below 00z EPS for 24-hour snow chances - a big spike as we turn the page to 2025. I might have something nice to track when I go back to looking at all the other maps after Christmas.
If it ends up working out, will have to give you props for seeing it pretty early on.
It sure has been rocking up at Crown Point. The way the models have been showing the storms coming in, I'll be seeing a lot of East winds.
Check out the 00Z EPS for my area for what, the next two weeks. Those are for Troutdale, just imagine the winds at Crown Point. Normally I would like to go up there but not if it's raining 🌬🌧
