I do agree that gloomy rain gets old once we get into January and February. I know it’s part of climo and I do enjoy it early on in fall and winter after we’ve gone a long time without any real rain in the summer. I don’t mind it as much if we get a decent shot of snow somewhere inbetween to break up the monotony. Even just a handful of sunny days mid winter can be nice too. The worst winters for me are the mild wet bland ones where we don’t get any snow.

Some more systems with snow like this and I'm going to be a very happy camper later this November.

Such a weird part of the world. They can average so little rain per year then one cutoff low delivers that amount in a weekend.
