I’m not so sure it’s some kind of end. Society evolves but human nature hasn’t really changed.
People want stability as societies. The only upheavals of major change are wars. Everything else is evolution, and we can’t stop that.
People gravitate to Trump because despite his wealth and ego, he understands what people of average means need. He also gets these arrogant petty leaders overseas and doesn’t take an ounce of crap off them.
Good businessmen/women have a lot of common sense.
The best I’ve known well, ALL have common sense and understand people. They talk straight and call you out if you BS them. It ain’t rocket science.
People with degrees pretty much have the same rate of ignorance as those without a degree when it comes to economics, policy and running a country. In general a degree in the correct field is simply a tool to specialize your skill set, network, and advance your career. Not everyone needs a degree and neither should everyone get a degree.

Sometimes I think people forget that a preference for snow in the Puget Sound or Portland does not mean you hate living here 90% of the year. I sure as shit could not stand living somewhere where the sun doesn't go golden until mid November or somewhere I can't enjoy a dark and cozy day. To each their own, but mine is in this part of the country.
