I will say, this pattern is a bit odd for November in that the upcoming cold spell is really home-grown in the CONUS. For the most part, most of Canada is above normal through the majority of the run - there is no real arctic air source that we tap into up north. It's pretty much chilly troughs that enter in off the Pacific and then really kick off over the Rockies.
If the cold air works out as it's currently being shown, I'll be fairly impressed we were able to pull it off.
